We're hiring a remote Sr. React Native Engineer for our client in LA.Looking for someone to design, develop, architect new and existing features across iOS and Android to support user traffic at scale.

Looking for someone with experience transitioning native mobile apps to React Native.

Added perk is they're fully remote (candidate can be anywhere in the US).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, release, and scale new and existing consumer product features and mobile architecture
Work closely with our product team to launch new features
Work hand in hand with our design team on modern user interfaces and experiences
Develop thoroughly tested code and conduct quality assurance on all new code alongside our QA team
Build dynamic, responsive, low latency and real-time user interfaces
Collaborate effectively with other technology teams & architects to solve complex problems spanning their respective areas
Establish key metrics to indicate success or failure after new product rollouts
Work in a team as well as independently to deliver on aggressive schedules and goals

Job Requirements

4+ years of experience writing native mobile applications (iOS or Android) & some amount of React Native expertise or have deep expertise in building a highly scaled application in React.js with aspirations to work on a mobile app.
Possess & act on a strong empathy for the users of the products you create
Minimum of 4 years’ experience in mobile development or React.js
Deep knowledge of React Native and NodeJS built with Redux, Sagas
& Thunks
Ability to build out component based front-end architecture
Understanding of complex user tasks that scale from novice to advanced
Ability to architect, refactor, and debug an app without disrupting &
introducing regressions to 100,000s of users is a big plus.
Strong focus on high-quality mobile UI experiences
Strong accountability, work ethic and sense of urgency
Experience working with a remote team is a plus
Raise the bar for technical standards, performance, reliability, and overall code quality
Start-up experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent
