Our client is an early-stage, VC-backed startup that is building production software used by real customers. They are seeking a senior, hands-on full stack engineer who enjoys ownership, speed, and working in a startup environment where things are still being built from the ground up.

This is a fully remote role within the United States. It is not an entry-level position and not a big-company maintenance role. The engineer in this role will be expected to build, own, and ship meaningful features in a fast-moving environment with evolving requirements.

This opportunity is best suited for engineers who have worked in small, scrappy teams, shipped real products end to end, and want direct impact on what they build.

• Design, build, and ship production-ready full stack features
• Develop backend services and APIs using Python
• Contribute to frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Own features end to end, from implementation through deployment
• Collaborate closely with a small team in a fast-paced startup environment
• Improve product performance, reliability, and maintainability over time
• Work effectively with evolving requirements and minimal process

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong backend experience in Python, including building and shipping real Python web applications
• Experience working across the stack, including frontend development using JavaScript or TypeScript
• Prior experience working in an early-stage or VC-backed startup environment
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting
• Strong communication skills and a sense of ownership
