Responsibilities
Design, construct, and sustain robust backend applications and APIs utilizing technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres.Employ cutting-edge AI-powered coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Tabnine) to enhance development efficiency, elevate code quality, and boost system reliability.Formulate and refine system architectures to ensure exceptional scalability and performance, keeping pace with rapid business expansion.Integrate diverse third-party services and external APIs to enrich the platform's capabilities.Develop and maintain critical internal tools supporting operational fulfillment, streamlining internal workflows, and powering machine learning initiatives.Engage in cross-functional collaboration with product, data, and frontend teams to expedite the delivery of high-impact features.
Job Requirements
A minimum of 5 years of experience serving as a professional backend engineer.Strong command of Node.js, TypeScript, and Postgres.Demonstrated history of successfully building and scaling eCommerce or online marketplace platforms.A keen interest in leveraging the latest AI coding tools and AI-driven methodologies to optimize development processes.Profound understanding of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and practical experience with containerization and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Docker and Terraform.Ability to operate with agility and iterate quickly within a startup environment while consistently upholding high standards of code quality.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with the ability to clearly articulate technical considerations and trade-offs.
